You know there are a lot other ways to make money as a music artist other than actual album sales, and this is one of them. One of Nelly's albums sold just about two hundred thousand copies a couple of years ago, and I wondered how he was surviving till I found out that a single (Just a Dream) off the album sold over 3 million copies. You see, there are a lot of artists that might not make albums that go Platinum, but they have series of songs that sell millions of copies. And as Nas said, 99 cents adds up.
