East St Louis based singer and Lindenwood University student Jr Dot (or as he is known in the STL poet circles as “The Spit Poet”) is tryin’ out to play in the park, as in 106 and Park. The “Welcome to Sweetie Pies” star is among several St Louisans who are sharpening their hosting chops vying to be the next host of BET’s top rated music show. For his audition, a mock show will be set up and taped with Dot hosting today, Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. at Club Amnesia, located at 1204 Washington Ave. in downtown St. Louis, on the corner of Tucker and Washington. Dot’s request is for the STL is to come out and rep, because in his words,"I need everyone’s support. Come dressed like would if u were going to sit in the audience of 106&Park!!!!”
